      Protocols are licensed sections of software that are used within the KoiosLT system for accessing real-time industrial data.

      2.1.1 The Protocol Concept

      Protocols are the foundation for adding devices and tags to the KoiosLT for use.

      2.1.2 Available Protocols

      The KoiosLT has a selection of three (3) major industrial protocols that can be implemented, and one (1) Secure REST API for inter-communication and/or third-party integrations, such as PowerBI.

      • Standard Industrial Protocols
        • ModbusTCP
        • Control Logix \ EtherIP
        • OPC-UA, includes KoiosLT's Device Set, High-Availability Features
      • Koios Platform Communication
        • Secure Rest API for sharing data between KoiosLT Systems
