1.3 What is AIOP Mode?

The driving force behind Ai-Ops is passion to extend an industrial operator's ability to control their process by adding an extra mode to their toolset.  Similar to Auto, Manual or Cascade.   AIOP mode can be used to enable / disable a value feed from the KoiosLT Predict Engine at the Control System.  This gives an operator a single-click option to enhance their systems ability.

1.3.1 Simplified AIOP Example

From an operating console, an operator would be able enable AIOP mode or disable AIOP mode.  By enabling AIOP in the below example, the PID block is bypassed and set to tracking, while the KoiosLT takes control over the Output channel.  There are many other features that are built into the KoiosLT system that effect the system heartbeat, and model status.  These features and their details are highlighted and explained in other sections.
