Testing a device before putting it online is a quick way to troubleshoot connection issues. At the top of the protocol specific tab, you will see a bar that says “Click here to test”. Clicking this will attempt a connection and return the results as shown below.

Timeout

One of the most common connection failure is a timeout. If you are experiencing a connection timeout, this just means that Koios was unable to receive a response from your device within the allowed time. Please verify the connection settings and that the device is on the network. Try giving it a ping!
